Am I the Laura you are tagging? I've never been blogtagged, so I just want to make sure I'm the right Laura before I get all excited.
I didn't know you were teaching sunbeams. I'm teaching the 5-6 year olds. They're a hoot!
Yes, I'm blogtagging you. :-)
So, you switched to a family ward too, huh? I thought you went to a singles ward. The family ward is a fun change, isn't it? Especially primary. :-)
I am just glad to see that you have come back to blogging. By the way, the pics of your family are great. Look how big it is getting.
I went to a singles ward when I was in the bay area--the Berkeley University ward. It was so great. Such an amazing diversity of people. I taught the new member/visitor Sunday school class, and I felt like you just never knew who was going to walk into the door each week: one of our new members was living in a tree as part of a protest, and we'd get occasional visits from doctoral students at a nearby theological seminary.
But, alas, not every singles ward is Berkeley. My family ward in Sacramento is great. I love being in primary. The kids will peek in my bag at the beginning of class to see what's in there, and then they squeal excitedly at each other, "We get to color!" We generally color every week, so I'm not sure why they think it's so novel, but as long as they're happy, I'm happy. :)
